Brazil reinforced the operation of Specialized Police Stations for Women (Delegacias Especializadas de Atendimento à Mulher) through Law No. 14,541/2023, which mandates their uninterrupted operation. These stations provide specialized police assistance, as well as psychological and legal support, to women victims of violence. The measure ensures the presence of trained professionals and improved infrastructure to offer effective and continuous support to survivors of gender-based violence.
